NICE TO MEET YOU.

I’m Mads.

I call myself a Texifornian, because I’m too southern for the West Coast and too West Coast for the South. (Meaning, I possess an undying love for BBQ, can’t shake using “y’all”, and am deeply connected and inspired by the water).

I grew up north of Dallas, but after college graduation, I moved to Hawaii and traveled the east coast of Australia to see what it’s like to casually drop the words Aloha and Kangaroo in a sentence. Since then, I’ve lived in Encinitas, Austin, and am finally settled here in Salt Lake City, UT.

Between all that time, I’ve been many things: a serial overall wearer, a self-unpublished Instagram caption author, a travel-junkie, and a eco-friendly brand aficionado with a stalker-esque knowledge of Yvon Chouinard.

But now, I’m a Pilates instructor with a deep desire to offer an experience met with mindfulness, soul, and challenge. Whether you’re in one of my group classes at a local studio, a private event, or a community mat class, my goal is for you to always feel welcomed when you arrive and full when you leave.

I currently teach reformer Pilates at The Point, The Block, and The Lodge at Blue Sky. You can find my current schedule here. But, I also teach free and low-cost mat classes around SLC as well as private events across the country (you can find details here).

I’d love to hear from you.
